The popular HEED 3 is the latest generation of Helicopter Emergency Egress Devices manufactured by Submersible Systems. This Heed 3 legacy model has the smallest footprint of EBS units. The HEED 3 is designed to increase the survivability of military and commercial personnel in short-term out-of-air emergencies. Born out of a need to provide US Navy helicopter pilots with a small, handheld breathing device the Heed 3 has been saving lives since 1979.
Model 175-001 is the preferred choice for helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, float planes, watercraft and vehicles that operated around possible water emergencies.
Note: Units are fully assembled and shipped empty (unless pre-filled option is selected). Purchase a Refill Adapter: Either #920C Air Compressor Refill Adapter (sold separately) to refill from any breathing air compressor or #910S SCUBA Tank Refill Adapter (sold separately) to refill from any full 3000 psi SCUBA Tank.
